For converting other OSR stat blocks for Shifty Louts.

Monsters generate their HP by rolling the number of d6 equal to their L(evel) (typically HD in other dragon and elf games).

L can also be used as a quick reference to a creature’s level.

Base Armor Class (AC) is 0. Reference the Armor Value Table below when converting AC.

Enemies roll under their Attack Value (AV) to hit.

Attack Value equals 10+L. 20 is always a failure.

Instead of Luck, monsters have a Save Value (SV)

Save Value equals L+5.

Damage, unless stated otherwise, equals d6.

Creature’s L also affects the number of attacks a creature makes each round.
