Peonian Clerical Spells for ODnD Harn

Working my way now through the Clerical invocations of HârnWorld.

The spells below are healing medicant monks and nuns of Peoni.

All are sourced from HârnMaster Religion.

Belsiran’s Tears

Cause the subject to shed a tear for every lie told.

Mirytha’s Shade

Offers insight into the reason a spirit haunts a locale or is causing trouble. The cleric is compelled to help the spirit finds it way to the next plane of existence.

Peace of Valon

Creates a radius around the cleric within which all entities are disinclinted to fight. Those wishing to fight must roll a Morale check with -2 a penalty.

Maermal’s Strength

Increase a subjects Strength attribute by +2 for Duration. If subject harms someone, Strength is decreased by the same amount.

Bounty of Maermal

Poisoned, rotten, spoiled, or contaminated food and water are purified. One of the following may be affected:

Tirrala’s Cure

The caster’s touch heals 2d6+2 hit points of damage in one living subject other than the caster. This cannot raise the subject’s hit points above their normal maximum.

Habrean’s Well

Blesses 6 ounces of water. Etherals, undead, and demons sprinkled must a save versus spells (with a -2 penalty) to avoid banishment. If the monster’s save succeeds, it flees the affected area.

Yselde’s Sense

Subject is able to control any mundane animal for duration

Healing of Gorlan

This spell has two usages:

  1. Characters: Neutralize the effects of poison on a character. A character who has died from poisoning can be revived, if cast within ten rounds.
  2. Items: Remove poison from an item.

Peoni’s Aid

The caster heals themselves 2d6+2 hit points of damage. This cannot raise the caster’s hit points above their normal maximum.

Peoni’s Mercy

Requires one mundane or ethereal create in Range who would harm the subject to grant mercy. The creature may roll a Save versus Spells to resist.

Sustenance of Maermal

Conjures food from thin air.

Tirrala’s Renewal

The caster’s touch heals 3d6+2 hit points of damage in amongst any number subjects other than the caster. This cannot raise the subject’s hit points above their normal maximum.

To restore life to a recently deceased human
