Summary

The Twentyeighth of Yellowmonth. The Annual Martial Sung Poothers Yellowmonth Sale.

The group awakens to another humid day and decides to take the job of the CUCPC

The Greenlandic CUCPC, "Cups" representative, Skullywaggles wants the group to travel to Noonhold for a “safari”. Poke around Crackpeak and the mountain villages for suitable neotroglodyte pets, willing to pay out 200d/mindscrubbed body

The group goes to the Fossilized Curd, a bar along the Indigo River, after not wanting to visit the Free Tech Dairy bars of the Diamante D’Azure Commercial Reintegration park.

There they are served cottage cheese and sacred fondue and meet the Stilter Leonti ta Grau who can take them to Noonhold for 50d in his hydroglisseur named Scoundrel.

The group immediately leaves upon the slow-moving Indigo River, but around even time, they encounter a spawning pool of river leeches.

Leonti says there are a few different ways to approach this: charge straight through, go around slowly, or pull the boat upon the shore and drag it.

The group opts to go around slowly and draws their weapons, unsure of how many river leeches there are. Just as they are about to get past the spawning clutch, the leeches break, with five attacking the boat while four fly through the air.

Two land on Monterey while Brother Lump’s arrow goes wide. Leonti attempts to drive the boat, but the leeches hold fast as water begins to flood into the boat.

Monterey can kill one while Leonti stabs another. Leonti rushes towards the throttle, but the boat begins to spin in place, as Brother Lump is attacked by two leeches.

After water floats to their shins, Leonti and Monterey can get enough leeches off to kill another two, but Brother Lump succumbs to the bites - dying in the flooding boat!

The group frees the boat and makes it to Noonhold by nightfall. Leonti needs to stay a day or two to repair the Scoundrel while Monterey figures the best way to honor Brother Lump is to chop his body into little pieces before being absorbed by the fungi aerolith in Noonhold.

He takes fourteen pieces of Brother Lump and implants them into blasted soul glass, items said to contain the Dead Blue God. Monterey intends to sell the objects as holy relics; just as Brother Lump intended.

As he attempts his first sale, he meets the absolutely jacked acrobat, Stout Bigguy.

• Noonhold is a village of 160 Stilters - will likely use Clink from Fever Swamp as a framework to riff on
• Game resumes on the 29th of YM
• Brother Lump was the second-highest SL character, right behind 5th LVL Zoltan the Diviner
